The Olympics

The Olympic game is for people all over the world.  The people in the picture are from the different countries. They can all join the game without wars, but lot's of love and friendship.

Taiwanese Table Manners

  Every country has their own manners. And I'm going to talk about some Taiwanese table manners.
  I believe that you've been to a wedding feast.  You can see lots of table manners there. For example, don't put your chopsticks upright in your rice. Chinese people think it looks like incense stuck in the ash of a censer. This only happens when you're worshipping your ancestors. When you want to put down the chopsticks, you should put them flat on bowl or on the table.
  To give another example, don't start eating as soon as the food gets on the table. It's very impolite to eat before the elders start eating. You should wait until the host tells you to start, and the elders have already tried it.
  There are many kinds of snacks in Taiwan. They are all very special and representative. In my opinion, "stinky tofu" can best represent Taiwanese food. Because when we introduce it, most of the foreigners know it. They think it smells awful, but it tastes excellent with kimchi. In short, stinky tofu represent Taiwanese food the best.

My summer vacation

    This summer vacation, I went to Kenting with my family. We went surfing ,it was so beautiful in the sea.
We also went to Kenting nightmarket after dinner, I saw lots of different things, but there was too many people. I feel very uncomfortable.

What I learn about the environment

On April sixth, we had a field trip to a wetland.  I learned lots of things about it.  First, the plants there are so cool.  I have never seen so many different kinds of trees.  And the insects, birds, flowers there tell us that we should protect the environment more.  Before the trip, we talked about the World Earth Day, too.  I think I did most of them , like recycling, saving  more water, making less pollution and using less electricity. I hope that people can keep protecting our Earth.  Maybe, one day our home will be better than it is now.

A Nightmare

  Then, the voice became louder and louder.  I asked "Who's over there?" But no one answered me. The voice was close to the door.  I decided to jump out off the window, just like how I came in.  I quickly ran to the window and pushed it as hard as I could.  But it was locked! The sound was still outside.  My hand started to shiver.  I took a chair and threw it to the window.  The glasses were broken.  I jumped out of the living room.  I thought that I was safe.  But I was wrong!  It wasn't the street, I was standing on a corridor. It was an old, dark place and the person kept screaming. I felt so scared, and I wanted to cry.  Suddenly the voice stopped. I felt so happy.  Then I kept walking.  Half an hour later, there was a voice "Run! Run now!" 
And the ground started to shake.  I screamed and ran as quickly as I could. A minute later, it stopped.  But in front of me was an old door. When I looked back, it was very dark.  So I decided to open the door.  I pushed the door gently and walked inside quietly.  But suddenly, there was a man standing in back of me.  The man said "You heard our secret! So we couldn't let you be alive!" Then he turned around.  Oh! The man had three eyes, two noses and a million mouths.  I screamed loudly and wanted to run away.  When I turned, the door disappeared.  The man walked closer and closer.  "Bang!" I opened my eyes.  I'm glad it was only a dream.

Santa Claus Visited The Students

      Santa showed up on the morning of Dec.24. The old man wore red
clothes, red pants and a red hat. Look! He has long, white beard.
You're right! He's Santa! He was in class 15. His bag was full of
candy. Santa said"The teacher told me to give every student a big
surprise." Yes! He really gave everyone a big surprise. Are you happy to see him on the Christmas Eve? Trust me Santa will bring
some good luck to you.

My Best Friend

                   I have a friend.  Her name is Cindy.  We met each other when we were
               only seven years old.  Cindy is a cute and pretty girl.  We were in the
               same class in the elementary school.  Now, We are in the same junior
               high school.  She is always very nice and friendly.  Sometimes, I think
               she is very attractive.  Cindy is also creative and competent.  There are
                lots of pictures we took it together.  We always support each others ideas. 
                But sometimes we are both silly.  I like Cindy.  She is my favorite and best
                 friend.  I will not feel happy to go to school if I do not have this friend.
